Mission & Vision
Bethel Church of God in Christ is dedicated to helping everyday people grow in Christ by increasing their joy.
We originally started working with Bethel back in 2022 when they needed a new roof on their church. They later came back to us with another project. Their congregation had been saving money, and they wanted to renovate a separate structure to expand their ministry.

The Project
This building right next door to the church had been closed because it needed total refurbishing. Hurricane Ida caused flooding, 4 feet of water in the lower level of the building. The kitchen flooded. Men’s and women’s bathrooms flooded. Smaller rooms used for Bible study and the open floor area were all damaged. The water level rose above the heating system causing serious problems and all the furniture on that first level was destroyed.
Servant’s Heart has been working with Bethel COGIC to completely renovate it. This has been a total gut job. We’ve reframed the structure, added new windows, siding, and roofing. The interior has received new walls, flooring, paint, cabinets, and appliances.
This space will eventually be used as a parsonage and ministry space for the church.
