The Project
This project was filmed as part of an episode of George to the Rescue. The Season 15 premiere aired on ABC on April 13, 2024. You can watch the whole episode —and our team in action!— on YouTube.
We had the opportunity to put together a team of skilled workers from our staff, volunteers, instructors, and Workmanship students.
Our crew worked hard to create a "mini-horse hotel". It was custom made to accommodate the horses perfectly. Workmanship Teaching Assistant Rob Reilly created a custom sign for the structure. He used a horse stencil and hand carved the sign with a router.
