We officially launched Workmanship Program: Franklin in January 2026 with courses in both CPM and Woodworking.

Applications are now open for the Fall Semester!

Our team is currently working to build out space for Welding and Automotive courses. Stay tuned! We’ll let you know when those are ready to begin.

Join the Team

It takes a team of committed volunteers to keep this program running.

We need skilled people passionate about their trades and eager to pass on those skills to the next generation. Commitments vary from as little as 1 night to the full semester of 29 nights. We also have volunteer opportunities for those with gifts of hospitality or mentorship.

Assist the instructors with leading the students through the hands- on portion of class.

Check in with 5 students 3 times each semester to make sure class is going well for them.

Provide a meal for students and volunteers on 1 night of class.

  1. 5. Hosts

Sets up, serves, and cleans up dinner.
