Mission & Vision
Our Workmanship Program provides students a free introductory trades education taught by industry professionals. We offer students hands-on experience and exposure to careers in each of the key trades: general construction, masonry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, welding, woodworking, tile, and automotive.
Our main facility is located in Paterson, NJ. This year we were granted the space and opportunity to expand the program to a second location!
FAST FACTS:
Start Date:
October 2024
Estimated Completion:
Winter 2026
Project Scope:
Converting a warehouse for the Workmanship Program, including a full kitchen and spaces for our classes.
The Project
We are converting a warehouse into a new facility for trades training and mentorship. The finished space will include all new bathrooms, kitchen, prep spaces, as well as a woodshop and classrooms for each of our currently offered courses.
The wood shop was completed Fall 2025. We ran a shortened version of our Woodworking Course that fall to test out the space. By January 2026, we were ready to launch a full semester of both Woodworking and CPM courses in that location. Our team is now working to build out spaces for both Welding (expected to launch August 2026) and Automotive (expected to launch January 2027).
Expected Completion: Winter 2026
