The Rock is located in the inner city of Newark where drugs, gang violence, and crime attract the interest of the youth. For over a year the kids and teens in their community have not had adequate space for their classes and recreation.

The Project

Servant’s Heart helped rebuild The Rock’s teen center to provide a safe alternative for them to gather. We also renovated the church’s kitchen which will be used to serve meals to their community every Saturday.
