Mission & Vision
Our Workmanship Program provides students a free introductory trades education taught by industry professionals. We offer students hands-on experience and exposure to careers in each of the key trades: general construction, masonry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, welding, woodworking, tile, and automotive.
Our main facility is located in Paterson, NJ. There we host 4 courses: CPM, Welding, Woodworking, and Automotive. Our 5th course is located less than 10 minutes away in Haledon, NJ.

The Don Westra Memorial Tile Course
Tile was more than work for Don Westra—it was a lifelong passion rooted in craftsmanship, creativity, and service. From his early days at Wayne Tile to his faithful support of ministries like Servant’s Heart, Don used his gifts to build both spaces and people.
This course bears his name in tribute to a life well-lived and a legacy that continues to shape others.
The Project
Our team built out the classroom to include multiple tile stations and all the equipment and amenities required to teach up to 8 students the art and craft of tile setting. The official Grand Opening was on September 19, 2023. We have held classes there every semester since.
