The CPM Course shows students how all the key trades of a residential build work together as instructors teach through the Critical Path Method (CPM) and walk students through applying what they learn by building a shed. Classes cover: carpentry, masonry, landscaping, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and more.

FINAL EVALUATION

Each student completes a final evaluation in order to graduate, testing on 5 key skills:

  • Reading a tape measure

  • Hammering face and toe nails

  • Driving screws with an impact driver

  • Cutting a straight line with a circular saw

  • Cutting miters with a chop saw

*In all of the above we look for jobsite safety.

GRADUATION TOOLBELT

If a student passes the evaluation and graduates they get to keep the tool belt they used all semester, which is equipped with the basic tools they need to pursue a trades career.

"The main thing that impacted me is that I was able to meet new people like Larry. I have learned a lot through him. He’s a good person with a pure heart and he loves what he does; it shows at school and at work."
