The Project
City Relief’s headquarters in Elizabeth suffered damage from hurricane flooding. They were without a safe and reliable facility for over a year. They found a new space in Clifton, but it needed work.
Servant’s Heart partnered with them for a total renovation the new space. The build-out turned into one of our largest projects to date! Over 10 months, our staff and volunteers provided them with all new offices, a soup kitchen, staff kitchen, prep and storage areas, and new bathrooms. The finished product is beautiful!
We are excited to have partnered with them, equipping them to welcome their guests and teams into such a lovely space, and to propel their ministry forward with expanded impact on the needy and unhoused in our communities.
Elysia Saint-Ange, Chief Operating Office of City Relief, shares their story and what it was like to work with Servant’s Heart for this project.
