Woodworking Course

The Woodworking Course exposes students to the basics of woodworking, as they gain hands-on experience and learn the foundational techniques of drafting, joinery, finishing, cabinetry, and millwork.

22 CLASSES I TUES & THURS  I  6:30-9:30PM I 16 YEARS+ I 12 SEATS

Course Outline

FINAL EVALUATION

Each student completes a final evaluation in order to graduate, testing on 5 key skills:

  • Reading a tape measure

  • Hammering face and toe nails

  • Driving screws with an impact driver

  • Cutting a straight line with a circular saw

  • Cutting miters with a chop saw

*In all of the above we look for jobsite safety.
